I will be polishing my car tomorrow with Menzerna FP. Should I apply ZAIO after the FP? I will be following up with z5 and CS?

That sure seems like an excessive amount of products that do the same thing, haha. You could most likely get 99.999% of that by just using FP2 and Z5.

Ya...Thought about that. Depending on what the finish looks like maybe. Even just ZAIO, Z5, CS. The hardest part of the whole app. is FPII and will be on par with ZAIO in cut or close to it. Once you get to the ZAIO,Z5,CS, it will fly fast and easy. If you don't need the FPII, it will be very easy. I would just try the ZAIO as it does have a good cleaning bite to it and skip the FPII. If the ZAIO won't cut it, then you will nedd IP or something a tad stronger. Try the ZAIO first and you might be shocked how it works depending on how the paint condition is.

He is using:

FPII- to remove some light defects.

ZAIO-As a base for Z5pro, that way no ZFX needed.

Z5pro-LSP

CS- Will extend the life of Z5pro and also improve the look.

That makes sense. And I spose you could wait a week or so to top the Z5 with CS. And after the FP2, the surface will be squeeky clean and the ZAIO will go on/off really easily.

I wonder how FP2 would react to a orange light cutting pad if the white pad doesn't remove all marring? Versus going up to a product like IP?

For anyone that applies ZAIO with a PC...how much ZAIO are you using? I tried using just a little bit but it seems like my pad absorbs it all. How much "clouding" or whatever should I see on the paint as its being applied? I wanted to use just a little bit and could only see that product was even on the paint if I looked at the right angle...I of course have a silver/grey car :)

Too scared to use ZAIO + PC on the whole car in fear that I'll waste way too much product, and ZAIO isn't cheap.

I can see ZAIO of course on dark colored paint, but I still do not use that much. A decent prime of the pad to start 4-5 small pea sized drops, then less after that maybe 3 pea sized drops.

My new bottle has been used to apply by hand on a vette and via PC on a durango. I am pretty sure that less then 2oz has been used so far.

1oz should cover a car with ZAIO via the PC (paint, glass, wheels, lighting). As you work it in, you'll notice it becoming translucent, and a high gloss peeking through the finish. For mild defect correction, I'll run it at 5. If I'm removing my current LSP to provide a 'new' base, I'll run the PC at 4 and not work it into the paint as long. For sap, bird bombs, stains, I prefer to use ZAIO by hand. Does this help?

It does, I think I'm just used to seeing more product on the paint, like Optimum Polish or something. It almostm akes me nervous to be running the PC across the paint if I cant see product :)
