I'm considering topping Zaino finish with P21S carnuba. Can I still use Z-8 after or will it not work? Has anyone else had good results with topping zaino with this?

Yes you can use Z8 over a carnuba.

If you put a carnuba over zaino you will have to remove the carnuba before you apply more Z2/5pro.

Ive topped NB with Z8, worked fine, although I dont see the point of applying NB and then using Z8. It takes on the look of the Z8, so I just dropped NB altogether, I couldnt keep Z8 off my car.

Yes, it wil help durability. Even better try CS and Z8 on top of your Carnuaba.

I say drop the carnuba. I'm from the school of thought of 1 or the other.

For a car show, I did one car that has many layers of Zaino by adding a coat of Souveran wax (black car) and it looked really nice. After the show, I stripped the wax and clean it for another coat of Zaino prior to storage and car cover.

It all depends on what look you're after.

If you use Zaino, and not happy with the look, it may be your way of finish polishing as this will bring out the deepest shine.

Or if you want a warmer look, then just switch to wax. It's a PITA to mix the two and maintain it.

I'd try a small panel to test the resulus before going full hog on Zaino/wax combo or switching to just wax or just Zaino.

Always, work on finish polishing techniques as this is your best way to get the look you're after.:buffing: You'll be surprised once you've mastered finish polishing to very high gloss. You'll know you reached it when it looks as if you already have a LSP on it and you also feel adding anything may dull the results.
