I looked uner the "reviews" section, but I didn't see any reviews on this. Anyone tried Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish , and if so what are your thoughts on it?

I'm one who has been remiss in posting review in that useful forum.

If you've seen many of my posts, you may know I'm a die-hard Zaino fan. I'm sure it's the reason my white '75 Jag has won its national awards, and I love the durability it gives me. I love Zaino's car wash, sealant, & and QD, Z16 for tires, Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner. But -- bigoted as I am in favor of Z products -- the Zaino glass polish and plastic polish have been big disappointments to me. At this point, I use them on my less-loved cars, or when I merely need "maintenance" instead of "renovation." I know this is not very evaluative; it's just my off-the-top-of-my-head appraisal. If you're interested, I'll try to think back to some more specific instances I can describe. But last year, when I received them before the 2003 Concours season and used them with great expectations, I was profoundly disappointed and pretty soon consigned them to the product-lines I keep for my "beaters." :down

Like Lynn, I found the glass polish to be OK, not spectacualr. My personal favorite glass polish is GG Fine Glass Polish.

I've been asked to amplify a bit more on my comments about my disappointment with Zaino glass polish. I'll try here.

I guess I've bought into the Autopia definition of "polish." I expected the Z glass polish to take out scratches. It did not. I used it according to directions, using a cotton towel for application and a high-quality MF for removal/buffing. The Zaino glass polish did remove film/haze from cigarette smoke and road film quite impressively. But when I tried to use it for some significant scratches, it did not make a dent in them. So ... when I want to grab something stronger than a typical "glass cleaner," but which will add an awesome shine, I continue to use Z glass polish. I just no longer delude myself that it's a "polish."

Does that make any sense?

Ah ok Lynn, that makes sense. From reading the links posted here, most people love Z-12. My windows aren't scratched so I'm just looking for something to make them shine, and it looks like Z-12 will do the ticket. Thanks everyone!
