Went to the local Advance Auto and they were having one of those managers specials and I was able to pick up 5 packs of megs wash strips, 3 bottles of #7, 4 bottles of NXT booster wax, 4 bottles of NXT protectant, 4 cans of Stoners IG, 4 cans of Stoneres more time less shine, and I think it all came out for $9:woot:

i got the last bottle of megs colorx at k-mart on clearance for $5. i'm always out and about to find deals somewhere, it's just a matter of finding someplace that has a sale/clearance on items that aren't doing well for them, but would be doing well for me/us! :p

I honestly wasn't too impressed with the brushes when I checked them out at pepboys. the only one I might go for would be the wheel face brush for wheels and another one for wheelwells.



But my greatest bargain has been the meg's products I got off amazon.com through sparkle auto. I paid half for #80 what I would have paid in the store..including shipping.

It really is for real, I couldnt believe it myself. The manager gave me 80% off of everything I bought, even items that were already on sale (the stoners stuff as already on sale for 25% off) Anyhow, I bought all of that plus a fuel filter and a gallon of gunk carb cleaner for $14 (he gave me 80% off on EVERTHING) I guess it helps to know the manager:xyxthumbs

So, they actually paid YOU to buy the Stoner's. :shocked That is downright awesome. Was this a special deal since you knew the manager or are there actually sales like this?
 
Well, the sale was for *on table only items* and I dunno, I guess I totally lucked out. When I picked up everything else he took 80% off of everything, I told him and he just said that since I was there enough it was a reward, but promptly said "but the sale ends now" :p Anyhow, sales like this do happen once in a blue moon I suppose, I have come in on managers specials before, just never anything quite like I got that day...
