Your LSP of choice with DWG?

What is your LSP of choice to top DWG? I have been looking at and thinking of a few I was trying to see what others have been using and like?

Jeff's Werkstat Acrylic Jett has been wonderful with Danase Wet Glaze. After I use up my Acrylic Jett, I will try DavidB's Ultima Paint Guard Plus with it. Have heard great things about it.

2 UPGP + 2 DWG + 1 final of UPGP =:bow

Hey Doc have you topped the UPGP with anything since we last spoke? I'm going to top UPGP with Fuzion this weekend. I know I shouldn't fool with it, but I got this $175 wax staring me in the face, so I just have to try it out.

DWG>2180>DWG>PW

DWG>109JS>DWG>109JS (depending on colour maybe PW or NR or nothing!)

KAIO>DWG>KSG>DWG>KSG<DWG>KSG (totally wet and awesome looking in fake plastic way! Great though).

DWG>NR!

I was told NXT 2.0 wouldn't be a good choice ontop of DWG as it has cleaners in it. I have the NXT 2.0 and used it (by itself) on my fiances Accord with very good results.

no cleaners in NXT 2.0 and it can layer quite happily over itself or other products - the original had cleaners but not 2.0 ;)

About 3 weeks ago I topped it with Pinnacle Souveran Paste and it was amazing also, gave it a nice wet 3d look. Pinnacle Souveran tends to mute the flakes on metallics, but to my surprise, the muting was very minimal with the UPGP under it. I have applied Souveran without the UPGP on other cars and it muted the flakes a lot. I also hit it with FK 425 after the Souveran, which might have helped to bring out the flakes. Still, my favorite remains UPGP with DWG.

I'm with you on UPGP. I got some time yesterday, so I topped UPGP with Fuzion. Like your Souveran, it gave it a rich glow, didn't noticed any muting of the flakes. Will QD with 425 and then other layer of Fusion. Fusion gave it a more warm glow instead of a hard candy shine. If we decide to go back to upgp do we need to remove the nuba or can we top it with DWG and then UPGP?

It would be hard to just remove the nuba without also removing the UPGP or some of it. If you add another layer of UPGP over the nuba, you will probably extend the durability of the nuba. You can either remove everything and start fresh, or just wait a few weeks til the nuba runs out of steam, then hit it again with the UPGP and DWG. My favorite way of removing the LSP is with Sonus Paintwork Cleanser. You can apply it with a finishing pad and it will remove the LSP without polishing the paint if it is not needed.

I'm curious, what benefits 2 UPGP gives before 2 DWG? Increased reflection under the depth of DWG? Or something else?
