your dream car!!!

hi all,

i really love my 2004 Acura TSX, really good gas mileage(8-9days without getting gas....i drive everyday), awesome looking in my opinion, reliable, and i really like the drive.

for my dream car, i really love the ferrari 575m maranello big time. the looks is there, handling, and the power is there. there are also other good cars out there such as the new 2006 corvette Z06, enzo ferrari, pagani zonda, lambo murcielago, BMW M6, saleen S7 twin turbo, aston martin DB9, and more.

but overall, i would still take the ferrari 575m over the other cars. i know the new 2006 corvette z06 is a really good fast car for the bang of the buck but if i had the money, i would still take the 575m maranello over the corvette z06.

if i get the 575m maranello i would just drive and drive and drive and drive. i like the black, red, blue, and silver maranello. i dont really like the yellow one that much.

so whats your favorite car?

my dream car is nothing extraordinary.....99-04 Mustang Saleen convertible supercharged. Either in mineral grey or bright RED. 18" chrome rims, full Saleen bodykit, black softtop, 5 speed, grey leather interior, Saleen light bar and when the top is down, hard speedster tonneau cover over the back seats. I'd also like a Ford Super Duty crew cab diesel with a huge lift, chrome rims and a tricked out interior with tv screens throughout!

Just one dream car, I have an active dream life so just one will not do.

Either a Porsche 964, Porsche 993 or Audi RS2. List goes on for a long way from there, but these are practical cars.

Well, this thread will date me.

If I were to pick a car I would have to pick between two that I would have liked to own in my younger years.

1963 Chevy SS Impala. Great ride, classic look, plenty of room to seat guys like me.

The second would be the 1965 Pontiac GTO. Big 389cu.in., 3-2bbl carbs, headers, with 4 on the floor.

If I were to get real lucky both of them would have factory ac. Because even a cold day in Texas is hot for me.

In a perfect world either a Saleen S7 TT or a Pagani Zonda with a bit (a ton) of tuning. In reality I'll buy myself a Caterham Super 7 Superlight R (1080 lbs w/ drivetrain, 300 hp) and school the crap out of everyone while getting 30 mpg. Who needs doors or a windshield or soundproofing or a heater? Not me! $40,000 or so new, can't beat that while having such peformance.

I already own my dream car, 95 black cherry impala ss. I bought it with 18,xxx miles about 18 months ago. Its spotless and it sits in a garage under a cover. Next dream car would be a early 70's caprice classic vert.

2003 cvo custom electra glide or 2004 cvo custom fatboy, either one would tickle my fancy. but at $40,000 cnd. i can only dream.

true detailer: i worked at a chev dealer when that car came out, and i must agree with you. beautiful, fast, rides like a cadillac. not to mention VERY rare. great pick.

A 1965 GTO would be the one I would love to have, but not just any 1965 GTO.
It would have to be the one I bought new in 1965. 389 Tri-Power, 4 speed, every performance option available at the time plus power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. One window sticker was not enough to list all the options I put on it.
I tried to run it down in the mid 90's, but it disappeared from the Iowa DOT records in the 70's. They have no way of knowing if it went to the crusher, left the state, or is in a barn somewhere.

my dream car that id love to sport in the garage for nice little rides here and ther ewould most def. be this. a 218hp MINI! yes a mini... REAL MEN DRIVE MINIS DAMNN IT! lol... nothing extraordinary, or crazy expensive, just something i love and probably wont have the money to get for another 6-8 years. until then ill keep wishing, waiting, wonder, and seeing what other cool mods and upgrades can be done to one. :bawling:

"In its inaugural run the car posted an impressive time of 12.54 seconds for the Quarter Mile with a top speed of 115.79 miles per hour making it the world's quickest MINI in the quarter mile.

this would be something id baby and only drive on dry weekends. sort of a toy for a big boy so to speak.

Unrealistic: The new Bugatti Veyron....1001 HP, 243 mph, AT....just lovely.

Realistic: Every time I see an '06 BMW my jaw drops a little (I'm not kidding.) I also dig their SUVs. I like the new Mustangs but I see 5 or 6 of them every...single....day, I don't like flavor-of-the-week stuff :(

Oh and don't worry about dating yourself...I'm 18 and I'd kill for a '65 GTO, or a '69 Barracuda.

That being said, If I won the lottery right now I'd probably pick up a BMW X5 and an M6, and trade in my S-10 for a fullsize Dodge diesel with a leather interior :D Of course there's no lottery here so that's not gonna happen any time soon :P

The GTO is the way to go but I prefer the '67 styling a bit better :sorcerer:

For extraordinary, I'd have to say a 360 Modena with the 7 speed Enzo tranny. Talk about a fun car@
In reality, I'd say a 5 series BMW. I really like the new 545's and I'd kill for an M5!
