Yet another use for Spray and Wipe

NattyBumppo

Strange name, ain't it?
Musical Instruments :band . The tuning pegs on my guitars (and the plates that they mount to the headstock with) were looking pretty gnarly so a few squirts of S&W on a mf cloth and a minute later they were as shiny as new! I even used it to clean the fretboard on my '57 ES-Gibson to make sure it was squeaky clean before giving it a nice Lemon Oil treatment.

Ah the wonders of Spray and Wipe. Now I need to see if any of the SSRs or Pro Polish will reduce some of the swirlies that have accumulated over the years on my old black Les Paul:rockin . Even in retirement I end up using this stuff! LOL Meanwhile, my cars sit outside and are filthy! Well, at least the wife's car is...mine isn't too bad. :)

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in! :wall

Hey Natty! Interesting thread! :bigups Have you noticed if the S&W works better with certain types of fret board materials? For example, I find rosewood to be much more finicky than maple. I've been using a product called Guitar Honey on rosewood.

BTW - I have tried SSR1 on a black Gibson. It worked very well! :)
