Yellow 360 Modena Detail

This is my latest detail. I have been working on this car for a couple days now because it has been raining here in Boston. I knew the rain was on it's way, so I prepped the car before it started and pulled it in the showroom. Overall the car was in good shape. The paint had some blemishes here and there and the paint didn't have any real glow to it. It just didn't look like a Ferrari should. The wheels were dirty and the underneath of the front bumper needed some touch-up.

Here is my process:

For starters, I washed the entire car, cleaned the engine compartment and cleaned behind the wheels.

Clayed complete exterior with Opti-Clay

Removed stains from 3M protection with Nylon Spotter solvent

Buffed complete exterior with Menzerna Intensive Polish w/yellow pad by rotary

Buffed complete exterior with Menzerna Final Polish II w/white pad by rotary

Buffed complete exterior with RMG w/black pad by rotary

Hand application of UPPx2

Dressed tires with Kar Kraft Super Blue dressing

Polished wheels with AIO

more coming....

holy cow! I also envy you and your quality of work. so did I see the 360, a 360 spyder, a 550 Marenello, a Gallardo and other assorted cars? While the F355 Spyder (yellow / black) is my dream car, I wouldnt turn dowwn one of those 360's and Id be proud to have you detail it. Maybe someday...

Now, THATS how a Ferrari should look!

Are the headlight covers removable to detail?

Sean, the headlight covers are not removable but they are a sealed unit so no dirt or dust can get inside them. There is a cap behind the headlight bulb that seals the lens which you can take off and blow it out with an air gun if you had to. I lucked out that this one was very clean inside.

Wow! Bay State Motorsports has some awesome cars for sale. I've seen multiple Ferraris and multiple Corvettes that you've posted and they're all REALLY shiney and clean thanks to you.

Insane, thats the right look for any Ferrari :xyxthumbs

Amazing work, just one question...for the engine what products and methods did u used???

Akele abraço
