WOW - why aren't there any detailers like this near me?!

I would hope that you could take a brand new car that hasn't had that much exposure to the elements and make it look that good, its all presentation, a couple layers of glaze then a nice nuba can almost make any newer car look that good. Don't doubt your own abilities, your work probably looks just as good as that guys, just without the cool Youtube video and cheezy music.

All these Gloss-It detailiers are exactly the same, there is one in my area with a HUGE client base, and his work is still very sub par. It's sad to see some of the work that comes out of there, nice guy though.

Just curious why you're singling out Gloss-It detailers. Is the product sub-par?The reason I ask is because DSMS on here uses it, on some high-end cars and with amazing results.

I've learned a long time ago, even on here, pictures lie.

However, that being said, detailwerkz does good work from what I hear.

Also, gloss-it products totally rule, especially on the cyclo :buffing:

What makes you think its necessary to make multiple threads about the same un-amazing video. Most detailers can make any paint in reasonably good condition look just as good, if not better (in direct sun).

Indeed. One of the reasons Im a bit leary to try GI products.

I don't know how they work with rotarys or d/as like Flex, but I can tell you that with a cyclo the results blow away any other product lines I've tried (1z, meguiars, menzerna)

I'm not the least bit impressed. I went on the GI site The prices for the 8 Oz. bottles are outrageous. I don't care what they think GI can do. My work looks just as good for less $$.
