Wow! - another FK 1000P lovefest

I put FK 100P on my Smoky Granite Mica Lexus this weekend. This morning I did a quick ONR to clean off some light dust. The slickness of the 1000P is incredible. The grout sponge and the WW felt like they were gliding over the smoothest glass imaginable.



I've been, and remain, a big fan of UPGP. But even a novice like me could tell the difference - more in the feel than the look - both look great.



Easy on, with a PC/blue pad, and easy off. Still not as quick and easy as WOWA UPGP - but not too much more work or time.



As a novice I'm always impressed with the ability of the pro's to distinguish subtle differences in various products. I'm still at the point where they all seem good and I can't really tell one from another. But this is the first time I've really noticed a difference and frankly it surprised me.

I really like UPGP as well, having used it a lot over the last 18 months



IMHO there are 2 advantages and 1 drawback to FK1000...



1. FK1000 can be layered in 20 mins :2thumbs:



2. FK1000 just wont let water stay on it after washing - beads and sheets it off even when not fully clean - making it really simple to blow dry completely dry :2thumbs: I just never got that to happen with UPGP.



3. while FK1000 is very easy to use, UPGP is just sooo fast and reliable to use. If I wasnt so interested in detailing, UPGP would be a no-brainer as it just takes <5mins after a wash to add another layer



There are SO MANY great products around these days we are really spoiled with choice and forced to spend all our £/$ filling every square foot of garage space with new stuff :lol:
