what do you think one of these sprayers is worth? I have a friend who bought a van and this thing was in it
as he bought the van for his plumbing bussiness he just wanted it out of the van. I saw the thing and thought
wow this would make a nice mobile detailing setup, all I need now is the van and pressure washer. the same
guy is going to sell me a washer with honda 5 horse engine for $100. he sold me this 200 gallon skid unit
for $200. Right place right time I guess?!..

Looks, to me, like a exterminator set-up. If so, I would be leary on using it for car washing. I don't know if I would be willing to use something that could have the posibility of lingering pesticides which may or may not be hazardous.

It is a nice hose reel though, which is well worth the price, however I think it's a low pressure one -- which may not be compatable without a costly high pressure swivel upgrade.

this sprayer was used to spray a 2% mixture of lawn fertilizer mixed with 98%water, So I was told I,ll see if I can get it cleaned up. I agree that the hose reel itself is worth what I paid for the unit. I have not used a power washer yet on any of my details. What I want to do is run an inverter an harbor freight offers a wide variety of A/C pumps at several different GPM rates. I'm trying to get all my stuff together to get busy in the spring. I want to only run a garden hose nozzle on this thing. Icould feed the $100. pressure washer with this unit if needed. I did a little research and found that these spray units sold new for around $3600. and go used from between $600.-$1200. Thanks for the replies and you all have a great day, Dave

I'd be concerned with what type of fertilizer was used in it - especially since I'd be hosing down cars with it. I know fertilizer can do nasty things to paint and metal. Just this past weekend, I was spreading fertilizer and seed over food plots on some hunting land, and the back of my 4 wheeler was a mess. The paint on the back rack took a beating, as did the unpainted metal under the back end.

It may or may not be a problem, but it does look like you got a nice deal on it.
