would this buffer work

Not really interested in it. It is not variable speed, I need the variable speed to do different things. I hate getting stuck with just one or two speeds. Probably ok to buff a boat or something.

Yes its somewhat usable. Almost impossible to find pads for and only 2 speeds though. I used to use a older version of the model posted.

I would say that buffer is not usable. The thing only spins 1350rpms max which is waaaay too slow to remove scratches. You might be able to remove swirls with it though. It also doesn't have a variable speed trigger, so it's easier to burn an edge. I would recommend a Dewalt variable speed. I use mine every single day for several hours at 3000 rpms, no problems.

mmm think it's not going to be too useful. I think it's better to buy a quality tool over buying several cheap tools. it will save you time and money :2thumbs:
