World Cup, because it only occurs every 4 years, and it's countries being represented not cities. Soccer seems to be the universal sport, so it's cool to root for your country, or country of descend.

I voted "world series" but my real answer wasn' there, which is the NCAA college basketball tournament. When that is on, it's like the rest of my life stops for two weeks.

NCAA college tourney is a close second for me. It really is great stuff, seeing so many games end up so close. Theres also tons of upsets, so it's interesting to see the cinderalla teams. I usually enter a relatively cheap pool, just so the games have more meaning.

Somebody told me that anything with either wheels, hoofs, or (*) (*) is going to be expensive.

But I sure do enjoy the pleasures of racing and women, but could carless about horses, but if you want to keep your woman (or daughter happy) they tend to like horses.

So no matter what it's an expensive hoppy for me being single.

Seriously, nothing beats the excitement of an 800 HP fire breathing V8 410 CI alcohol consumeing NON wing open wheel sprint car on a tacky 1/4 to 1/2 mile clay oval with a non prentious drivers who races for the love of the sport on a suturday night, especially when your local track is right on the Beach at the Pacific Ocean ;) at the best little dirt track in America, Ventura Raceway

But I enjoy anything that races, from karts, to F1, GP2, Motorcycles, Indy Cars, Nascars, Le Mans they all have their good and bad.

And the World Cup, is truely the Worlds biggest sporting event, I think even surplanting even the Olympic. But the US just doesn't and will never care.

But for sheer hype, and pure fun, nothing beats the Superbowl, especially when its a good game. The Rosebowl, or the College National championship is damn near as good, but is kinda diluted with all the bowl games. The NCAA March Madness though is pretty cool kinds like the world cup for basketball in our country!!!

It's all good.

Some guys like blonds, some like brunettes, some red heads, I say why limit yourself to just one. There all good. Whatever sport you like, do, or watch, enjoy.

WORLD CUP BABY

zidane is the greatest soccer player that ever played the game, he hit that player cuz he deserved it

I love Zidane. The way he played is nothing less than fantastic. But I don't think any player deserves such headbut. IMO.

I remember CBS news one night when they asked folks in New York about World Cup. The answers were funny. (Do we have US national soccer team? David Beckham is US captain. A US forward was thought to be a boxer. etc) :getdown

Everytime I come back, something is added!

This was my pole!!

lol....

Easy tiger!!!!!

:lock:

Im off the chair Doug!!

I find NCAA Basketball and Football to be more exciting than their professional counterparts. Nothing more exciting than the extracurricular activities in the parkinglot with the student body (ya know what i'm saying?!) :D :usa

Stanley Cup Finals. So I voted for the Super Bowl. The last run to the Cup was incredible. Too bad everyone south of the Mason-Dixon doesn't have a clue(Even the Carolina Fans). Oh well.

The Beer Man :spot :chuckle: :usa

I watch all the races live no matter what time I have to plant myself in front of the TV.

I'm the same way. I always flip it onto speed channel. It sucks that we don't get both the practices.

Football and F1 and I'm set! :spot :spot

Been to the Indy 500 and NFL Pro Bowl. These are awesome events. However, I would just about give anything to go to the Super Bowl.
