Working my way back 07 Liberty Limited Detail

Since my move to Rochester, NY I have not had many details. This weekend I was lucky though to have not only good weather but someone who wanted my services for his daily beater (gee aint I lucky). In good faith that I would get his other cars along with his son's cars I took on this 07 Liberty(ok not that bad). Back to the owner for a second he was the co-owner of a popular internet website along with his son, the site was just recently sold but I was still excited to know that I was detailing for somewhat of a celebrity even if just an internet one. As for the car it had the usual swirls and dirt inside. He asked I bring it back to him looking as new as when he got it 10 months ago. Here is the process

Exterior

Wash using Advance car soap

Clay with blue Claymagic

Polish using 106FF green lc pad and my Hitachi at 1700rpm

Wax using Blitz Wax

Tires got VRT made by Advance

Wheel wells were sprayed using Megs Hot shine

Interior

Vaccuum

Use Woolite Mix on all plastics

Clean leather using Wolfgang leather cleaner

Condition Leather using Adams leather conditioner

Steamed cleaned interior with my Aztec extractor

I went back to Blitz on this one because my customer was looking for a deep shine and something that lasted. Since this was black I figured heck why not. I have gotten over 4 months on Blitz in the past and I already scheduled him for 3 months from now. Also I advises the owner that the chrome was lifting on the wheels and he was little upset about it, good thing I showed him this prior to working on the car.

Here are some pics, I know its not what we are used to looking at here but I am happy because I getting work again in the area I now call home.

Thats a good looking Liberty. Those tires look good on that.

Whats up with the ebaum bumper sticker?

lol, the owner of the jeep is Ebaums founders father. :D

As for the seat rails I have a nice little cut on my finger because of those rails. Some things will never change. Although I did pick up the car and drop it off and road manors were not that bad. No rattles with 13K on the clock

Deffinately a great outcome!

About the wheels. Except the high end SRTs, all Chrysler wheels are just alloy wheels with chrome plastic covers. Even though it probobly felt like metal, and cleaned up like metal, if you were take the wheel off and look at the back side you could see the edges of the plastic.

Kind of a shame they aren't realy, but Chrysler is saving a fortune doing it that way!

Yeah, GM is doing the same thing on some models, and charging $500 for it.

Very nice work, I have a similar model with a 3" lift to make room for some bigger all terrains. The ride quality is great for having 49,000 on the clock, I love my liberty.
