Workhorse Chevy 3/4 ton gets some overdue TLC

Another long-time client of mine asked if there was anything I could do to bring the shine back to his truck since the paint started looking very dull. He was realistic about it and didn't care about the paint spots and heavy scratches....he just wanted some shine back. Since it wouldn't fit in his garage, I had to do it outside....and I forgot sunblock....had a BAD sunburn for like 2 1/2 weeks. OUCH! Won't make that mistake again.

Truck was foamed, washed, clayed, and Meguiars D301 was used with a Megs MF finishing pad on the PC for a 1 step correction and sealant. The beauty of D301 is that you can work it in direct sunlight and it does just fine! Work was done about 2 months ago and it still shines great and is still beading water quite nicely!

You can see how heavy the oxidation had become

I would never have guessed that D301 would have brought the paint back as well as it did. I bet the owner was very pleased.
