Woolite vs. Simple Green on Leather??

hi all,

i hate to admit but im a bit paranoid here. i cant stop thinking about this so i have to ask. so far i have been using a diluted simple green solution to clean the dust and spots on my leather and it really works. 10 = water, 1 = simple green.

i know an alternative solution is diluted woolite. now ive heard that its not really good to use simple green on your leather and woolite is better. anywayz, for woolite what is the safe diluted ratio?

am i really hurting my leather by using diluted simple green? if yes and if woolite is a better solution, ill be willing to switch because i want to be able to take good care of my leather. thanks for the inputs!

dillute the woolite 1:6. (6 parts water). for light cleaning and less sudsing from the solution use 1:9.

simple green dilluted 15:1 is my solution for really dirty leather but now for maintaining or for ;leather in good condition

Use woolite and water . I use it all the time for light and heavy stuff . IMO SG 's not a good choice for leather. Don't forget to use 4 Star conditioner after ...awesome stuff

i looked at the bottle of the simple green i bought today and the label said not to use it on leather or suede
i don't know what to do, i've seen people recommend it but i'm a little worried about the long term effects

my bottle actually says its ok on leather. but again even if it says its ok, doesnt neccesarily mean it is. use a high dillution of it, and only in the case that nothing else has worked.

i have the simple green that can be found in walamrt in the house cleaning section

I have used highly diluted Simple Green on leather. It get's the leather very clean. But I always follow the cleaning with Z-10 Leather in a Bottle treatment. I haven't noticed any bad effects. Leather is nice and soft.
