Woolfgang Polishing Pal - Pad cleaning?

Whats the best way to clean/wash the velcro backed foam pads please?



Also, bearing in mind that I'm about to use one of these on a new car, is there any danger I could mark/swirl the paintwork with the slightly more sturdy orange pad when I polish the car, or should I use a black/grey pad for polish?

I got my Pinnacle Polishin Pal yesterday (same as Wolfgang one) but I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. I would wash the pads the same as a PC pad. I soak mine in a bucket of warm water and Dawn for about an hour, then rinse thoroughly and dry them by flattening them between MF towels. Then I let them air dry the rest of the way.



If you're going to be polishing, I'd really recommend a PC. Otherwise, use the orange pad for heavier polishing, and the white pads for lighter polishing.
