I've tried it a few times and found that it wasn't all that much more aggressive than a foam cutting pad. IMO you'd be better off using a 4" cutting pad as opposed to a 6" wool one. I don't think the PC generates enough heat or is otherwise aggressive enough to take advantage of the wool.
FWIW, PC at 6/wool/3M FCRC didn't do a thing for "normal car" marring on a '01 Audi. I spent many hours with this combo, went through a bunch of wool pads. Didn't get the marring out, not even close.
See how it works for you, but a) don't worry about it being too aggresssive and b) don't expect too much.
