Hello all...

Have any of you experienced that horrible fake wooden paneling while you're detailing? I know not many cars actually have that stuff on them anymore, but I was curious to know if any of you HAVE detailed a vehicle like that... and what did you use to protect it?

Brings back memories of my parents 1971 Station Wagon! :up

it's a vinyl sticker, the fake wood is.. God will that stupid fad ever die?

So stuff like 303, vinylex, etc should be good for it. -- or a shot gun.

No... It's a stock steel hood. I just coat it with that vinyl wood panelling like shelving paper. I then will draw a hood scoop with my Sharpie.

yo.

I'd just slap on a coat of fake varnish...
