From what i,ve read here

wolfgang was formulated to give a dark/wet look ?

Can you use the wolfgang sealant over megs #7 scg? not using the wolfgang prewax cleaner.

Can you use any QD with wolfgang? or is it better to use their QD?

I,m thinking of #80/#7/ WG sealant, maybe top with #16/s100.

No don't use #7 with wolfgang, I'm not sure that would work as it is a sealant. People have had good results with VM and WG. I've used 4*'s QD over wolfgang, and WAUD.

But isnt the in combo here vm/ex-p:confused:

vm is a glaze? so its make up would be inline with scg

so thats why i,m going to try the msg/scg/wg if its messed up then strip it down

WG is a water based sealant. With that in mind, I would go with a polish that is also water based or very light oils. Menzerna FP is one.



However, I really do not remember hearing that it will not bond if a glaze is used. It's not Zaino or EX-P. Maybe an email to the mfg is in order to get the facts.



I currently have it on the SC430 I own and to be honest, after polishing with Menzerna FP I used their pre-cleaner prior. It seems to work. Not that you HAVE to, but I felt that it's a system and may work better in that way. Normally I use Megs Hand Polish instead of #7 as it's easy to remove as opposed to #7. Works better in humid weather!



After it cured for 24+ hours, I topped it with Souveran and boy does it look W E T !!



As for QD, I have used on WG so far: ClearKote QS, Megs FD, Crystal Mist.



Washing: 1Z Perls. Very Nice wash I may add!

I have currently used Wolfgang Sealant over DACP without the precleaner in the middle. I do wash or remove residual product (DACP) after cleaning/polishing however. When using Wolfgang alone, I have had good success with Zaino Z6 as a QD or their refomulated Wolfgang QD.



On a friends ride, we used Sonus Acrylic Spritz over Wolfgang and he liked the reflective results. I also use it over Klasse and even Poorboys with good success.



I had topped Wolfgang with Souveran and currently Paste Glaz (trying to use some of the full canisters I have in storage) and was impressed with the look. In cases where a carnuba is on top, then Crystal Mist is all I used, as I feel its the best going and like the addition of a little picker up to the carnuba coating in the hot Florida sun.
