Hi everyone,

I just bought a 2004 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab Silver a week ago and of course I already want to wash and wax it. We also have a Gold Ford Taurus and a Atlantic Blue Dodge Durango.

I am wanting to buy the Wolfgang Interior/Exterior Combo Kit for $89.95 from Auto Geek but I am not sure. I don't want to spend all day on my truck either. I wanted to know your thoughts. Any opinions would be great. I was also thinking about the Klasse ALL-IN-ONE Polish and Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
The Wolfgang Interior/Exterior Combo Kit includes:
Leather Conditioner (16 oz.)
Vinyl and Rubber Protectant (16 oz.)
Auto Bathe (16 oz.)
Pre-Wax Polish Enhancer (16 oz.)
Deep Gloss Paint Sealant (16 oz.)
Two Microfiber Towels
Two Microfiber Applicators
Two Poly Foam Applicators

Please help ! Again any reviews would be great.

:)

I was one that got the free eval kit from Wolfgangs some time back. The product is real good and does a great job. The sealant is real bright about as good as it gets. I did all mine with a PC so I'm not sure about teh hand applications and the results.

I perfer the Poorboys lineup for machine or hand applications. The price is great and the quality and results either way are great. On the inside his Natural Look is great on even the leather I have used it on my BMW for that application.

PB Polish w Carnuba I feel kicks butt over the Klasse its all I use on my details. His sealant is a warmer shine the WG but still a great shine for the money.

That's my .02

I've used some of the Wolfgang stuff.

First off:WG Signature scent-Smells like cologne or aftershave. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's something noticeable. Everything that I've tried of theirs has the scent. I have heard (no first hand experience) that the qd has changed to an apple scent.

Paint cleaner-Very mild, at best. Helps on slight scuffs. Doesn't do much (if anything) for swirls. Doesn't "mute" metalic flake either, though.
Sealant-Looks nice, didn't find it to last too long (visual and tactile-wise, at least), especially for a sealant.
Easy on/off. Used in the shade.
QD-very nice. Added some pop back to the sealant, worked on waxes also. The new version is supposed to be even better.
Carpet cleaner and the Spotter-Works on very light dirt. 303 works better (IMHO). So does Poorboys Biodegradable cleaner (not that you'd likely be able to find any available for sale currently-right Steve?)
The mf's included are of pretty good quality. Way better than a buck store or discount store would likely have.

As your truck is new, the WG set should work for what you need. As to the Taurus and maybe the Durango, if they need a little "restoration" this will likely be beyond WG's capabilities.
For an all round "good for rough as well as showroom condition" cars, I'd recommend the Poorboys line. Easy to use, little goes a long way, products ranging widely enough to cover most tasks you'd likely try to address yourself, and they can be used in the sun.

Don't forget to show some pics when you've got the vehicles done! :)

Since you asked for it, here's my opinion.
Klasse AIO followed with 4 Star UPP and you will step back and go Wow!

Of course, there are probably hundreds of combos that will do that, but I can't try them all. :)

My opinion is the Klasse will give you a greater reflective look over the wolfgang, but the wolfgang will give you that nice "warm" look, even on silver, just like the bottle claims. For durability (which it seems is important for you to not have to spend countless hours on your truck) I would choose the Klasse route. The stuff seems to last forever on my car.

Thanks a lot for the help. I decided to go with Klasse AIO followed with 4 Star UPP but of course I have to order the stuff and of course the weather is going to change tomorrow to rain and colder weather. IT is going to be in the 50's ! YUK.
So, I think next Saturday I will take it down to get washed and then bring it into the garage and get the sealants on. Thanks you so much for your help.
