What have you guys found to be the best method for applying Vinylex or 303 to your tires? Using a special foam applicator? I have not used anything on my tires previously, but I would like to keep them looking nice and have decided to start using my Vinylex on them. Any application tips or tricks would be great. Thanks.:D

Eagle one tire swipes rule. Dab a little product on them (spraying the product can be wasteful) and wipe away. Cheap and effective.

Eagle one swipes work great for tires and I also use them (clean) on the outside trim. They are easy to control where the product goes because of the stiffness.

I use a eagle tire swipe with vinylex. I also let vinlex dry on the tire for 15 or 20 minutes then I use a towel to wipe off the excess.

it's surprisingly durable, will last a long time (the eagle ones come in two packs) you'd think the sponge part would separate from the plastic part, but that's not the case

what's not cool, is your hands get dirty sometimes so I use a rubber glove to suppliment. I usually end up throwing out one who's grip got dirty rather than it died on me.

I like the ideal of the swipe with the handle (posted on another thread)

I am getting their Deep Gloss Total Concours Kit from Autogeek [I won it!]. Anyone have experience with their products? Any advice?

Thanks!

I'm sure their polishes are good. I think they are rebottled Menzerna products. I have read the sealant is good, but it never really caught on that big, at least on any of the message boards I frequent. Why don't you give them a shot and post your results? I'm sure people will be interested.

It's a competitor's (PBMA's) house brand, like Blackfire is one of CMA's house brands. I don't think its off-limits to discuss it on this board, though.

Ah, I wasn't aware.

I was going to post it on Another forum, but I like the responses here better

But that explains why BF is so liberally pushed here [and I want some dearly].

Maybe I can exchange my Deep Gloss Total Concours Kit for a Wet-Ice Over Fire Shine Kit from PAC?

I think that is a bad word here.

I saw we [PAC] does not carry it, but who knows, lol.

Yeas, it is obviously popular here, but it's also big on other sites not associated with CMA.

For the sake of telling of the fact I like to type :D

Wolfgang is not a bad word around here, far from it. As mentioned it is sold and manufactured by PBMA, who is our chief competitor (but really who aren't they competitors of?) but that?s A-OKAY! We have allowed and will continue to allow the discussion of pretty much any brand of product on our forum, good, bad, or indifferent and without prejudice. This is why there are many posts about Pinnacle, Zaino, etc... It's cool.

I haven't used much Wolfgang products lately but have used most (if not all) of them in the past and I really cannot say anything bad about them. I prefer Blackfire, but I also recognize that I have a 'built-in' bias.

I wouldn't say that Blackfire is pushed liberally here, but obviously it is a welcome topic. Because we know the products inside and out and developed them, we can help trouble shoot issues with the products and help people get the best results from them. It is for that reason I feel comfortable recommending the products and wouldn't feel comfortable making specific recommendations with Wolfgang.

As long as there is no overt product bashing any and all discussion is welcome here. If it is a subject we feel comfortable with (such as our brands or brands we sell) then we will jump in and help out if we can. If it is something we have no business speaking about, we will try to moderate it lightly and let you guys enjoy.

Happy Holidays!!!

Why not use the gift you were given? Learn about it and let us know what you think. One day you'll try "the competition" (you really should try BF Wet Diamond!) and have a true basis for comparision.

Competition is healthy - it promotes product innovation and improvement along with fair pricing for producer, reseller and consumer.

GEWB

From what I hear, the Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 has been reformulated and works excellent.

I do look forward to using it, that is for sure.
