Wipes vs Sprays

Are wet wipes by Meguiars for example, just as effective as their sprays? Wipes are quick and easy but are they worth it?

I really do not care for product wipes. I much prefer a spray and a microfiber towel. More control over the amount of product I am using.

Yeah usually with the wipes you get a few that are completely saturated with product and make a mess while others have little to no product on them.. i guess in theory it seemed like a good idea.. but in the end it causes more hassle than its worth..

in the end i think it comes down to a control issue.. cant control the amount of product that you are applying.. so if you dont want a crazy gloss you really have no choice.

I use the spray as well as I also believe it is more cost effective also. As mentioned you get wipes that are either saturated and drip everywhere, or the cover does not shut right and they dry out.

The only advantage to the wipes is convenience, I have some APC ones in my car, for spills and what not. Your paying dearly for that.

As for using them instead of buying bulk liquid never!

I prefer sprays or better yet a damp applicator over wipes. I got some Meg's QID wipes as part of a kit so I use them but will not buy them.

:horse::horse: IMO I don't think they last very long and they leave too much behind. I give them to my wife if I come across them cheap or someone gives me some -- she likes them because they are quick and convenient.

However, she usually waits for her car to be trashed engough that I clean it for her!
