Wipe on and Walk Away!!! XMT 360

I have written about this a few times, but wanted to discuss it in the aspect of all the new products that are coming out. It seems that the Spray or Wipe on and walk away is the new trend that seems to be popping up with some great products.

Well, Pinnacle XMT has its own of sorts. It is an AIO type product. 360 is made for machine use, but seemed to work just as good by hand on the panel that I tried that way.

First off, the product might be the BEST smelling product I have used. It is pink in color in the bottle. I wanted to do shots of it.

When used by hand, I used a nickel sized amount on a MF applicator. It went on smooth and CLEAR. I was taken aback by this a little bit, but liked it. I bascially just rubbed it in like I would any other product and it "melts" into the paint.

When used with the PC, it almost completely melts into the paint in one pass. Very little product is used at all. But the results are better than any other AIO product I have ever used.

The results leave a wonderfully clean looking panel and incredibly smooth. When finished, it screams "CLEAN'. I recommend it to anyone.

Interesting. I read in one thread that it will take paint that is very swirled to a like new finish in one step and another that it can be used by hand with a MF applicator. *I* just don't see how that could be possible.

Me neither. Swirls are a physical problem; it's not as if they were smears or something else topical. A product could fill them in, I suppose, but that doesn't eally fix the issue and won't last.

Michael (who just spent this afternoon with PC and swirl remover creams on just the trunk of my black Acura. AND whose arm hurts.)

P.S. Swirls are gone!

Here is the info that Autogeek lists on it. It speaks of very minor abrasives.

Corrects. XMT 360â„¢ does what no mere cleaner wax can do; it removes light swirls and imperfections to leave the paint looking flawless. Ultra fine abrasives - so fine they are not perceptible by sight or touch - gently blend away fine blemishes and visibly smooth the paint. Light spider webbing and water spots vanish. XMT 360â„¢ works like a mild swirl remover but, remarkably, it eliminates the need for a separate cleansing lotion or sealant.

Cleans. XMT 360â„¢ contains cleaning agents to remove oxidation and uncover the glossy, vibrant paint underneath. Any type of paint instantly appears deeper, glossier, with more vivid color. XMT 360â„¢ removes dull films and wax build-up to bring new life to the paint.

Seals. Besides correcting and cleaning the paint, XMT 360â„¢ deposits a glossy, slick layer of durable polymer protection. This is not a one step product that has to be followed up with another sealant for real protection. XMT 360â„¢ is a premium paint sealant that will provide months of paint protection against salt, water, industrial pollution, UV rays, insects, and road grime. XMT 360â„¢ is so effective as a sealant, you’d have a tough time distinguishing its mirror-like finish from other premium non-cleaning paint sealants.

People were asking how it did something...I did not want to rip off someone elses comments on it (AG), so I said it was written by them. Let it go man.

You guys need to take it easy...you guys think this review from Josh is an infomercial and some sort of plug. Trust me there are other Autopians on here which probably are getting freebies from AG and it shows with every click and brag they post. Just let it go, thanks Josh for taking the time to review this product for those that were curious about it! :xyxthumbs

What'd I say??

Josh, thanks for taking care of Chad with the machine.;)

No no! My comments weren't aimed at you SpoiledMan! And thank you for the kind words you shared with Chad, I really appreciate it!

Josh,

Any "during" pictures while using XMT 360? The way you describe it, it sounds an awful like Opti-Seal; which seemed to "disappear" into the paint for me.
