window issues

hey everyone im new here...

just got a custom fiberglass kit put on my mazda protege... but while at the shop, the windows accumulated a white specks/film that i cant get off.. can you point me in the direction here to find an answer?

You could try and use a clay bar on your windows that should do it ... can you take pictures ?
 
Sounds like overspray. Try a clay but I would think you would have to go to a lubricant and sharp razor to get them off.

i'll take pics today.. it's a film you really can't see until the sun glares on it, then you're blind!.. and when trying to clean you can feel the roughness... see if i can get pics that show the issue. thanks (im assuming it is residue used while working with fiberglass, cuz thats where it was)

yeah thats the word! i think it is overspray... just a thin film. i gotta do all the windows with a razor? ohno... :nono

what type of lube?

Yea a razor would do the job as well (again you should probably follow up with clay)

Lube ... KY is good .. j/k

Any Quick detailers or something like PB's Spray&Wipe should do!
 
I would definitely hit the entire paint job with some clay. If it's overspray on the windows, then it's more than likely on the entire car. If it's not all over the car, there's a chance that it's there in isolated areas. Sounds like you need to give your baby some clay lovin'. It'd be a good opportunity to get to use your stuff. :)

yeah i would do the whole car, but im getting it repainted, so dont wanna waste the elbow grease :naughty

the windows are whats killing me.

so clay bar 1st, and if that dsnt work, razor?
