I see. I've used nothing but straight water for the last 25 years. I found no matter what product I would try they all contained ammonia. IMO ammonia is the leading cause for streaking

Thanks for sharing your process :bigups

I'm interested in the CarPro towel. I'll have to give that a try.

The ones I have used and like are:

Stoners IG
Meg's
And recently PB's glass cleaner

All do a great job. I'l really liking the PB product. If not for that I would go back to Stoners IG

I usually use Sprayway on the exterior using two towels: wipe to remove 95%, dry to finish it off. This way I can do all the exterior and sometimes the interior with same two towels. I have tried the CarPro and other glass towels and they do ok but always like a second towel to get perfect.

On interior I usually use any number of cleaners (Meg's, Mothers, Poorboys, etc) using two towels. I have only seen a couple glass cleaners that I had issues with: DP and CG Glossworkz.

PB glass cleaner has replaced all my previous glass cleaners (Megs, Pinnacle, DP).

I've been hearing good things about CarPro Glass Towel however.

I never got the hang of the CarPro towels. I have several of them and could never get the results out of them that others have. HD Glass and waffle weave glass towels for me.

I use Meguiar's D120 and a two towel method. First towel is a regular MF used as a mop to pick up excess. Second one is a thin, silky glass towel sourced from a local janitorial supply house that does the final polishing. I also have Sprayway and Stoner's on the shelf, but the Meg's does as good of a job as any of them for me.

You will love those Carpro towels. Makes cleaning interior windows a breeze.

Streak free for me comes with using 2 mf towels. Low pile glass towel for the cleaning. Medium pile mf towel for buffing. As for products, lots of them out there like stoners and chemical guys don't have ammonia in them. Chemical guys Glassworkz works pretty well when diluted 4:1 with distiller water. Or invisible glass by stoners works great. Use the 2 towel method and you will notice how the streaks are gone!

I used a few different things usually. I have megs that i used with mf towels, and I have some glass towels that are like the CarPro fast glass towels. Lately I find myself using Carpro Eraser a lot for final cleaning of the windows.
