Will Zaino bond with no *agent*

I don't have AIO, ZFX or the older Z? to mix with my Z2 Pro.



If I let Z2PRo just sit for 24 hrs straight, will it bond ? It's not a critical application, just planning 2 coats for winter wheels and want to use up stuff I don't really use anymore
 
yes it will bond, not as quick as when using ZFX, but it'll have nice durability.

Wait ~24 hours for next coat when you're not using ZFX. And make sure your wheel surface is clean.
 
You shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure your paint is clayed, polished and clean. Z-AIO is your cleaner and the Z-1 (bonding agent) replacement. Recommended, but not required. ZFX is a curing accelerant. Its used to accelerate the curing process. Again, not required. You just have to wait 24hrs for the Z5 to cure between layers.
 
I had this question awhile back and I recall he was adament that a agent was required, regardless of letting the product sit for 24 hrs or not.



I suppose whatever catalyst that does occur, I wonder what the durability is without any bonding agents.



Well, I have one coat of Z on the wheels. Will just top it off with M16 and call it a day. Gotta get these things mounted. It's getty chilly out here in the NorthEast.
