Will this buff out?

I just got my e92 M3 about 40 hours ago and today in the parking lot someone hit me while I was gone !! I am very frustrated and pissed off about this.



Do you guys think this will buff out?

Lacquer thinner on a rag should take off the paint transfer. Then you will want to polish to make it perfect.

I'd bet that'll buff out.

Like JohnKleven said, use some lacquer thinner to get rid of the paint transfer and the rest should buff out.



Doesn't look like it's very deep.

Acetone will work as good as lacquer thinner with far less health risks, but then again if you like the buzz use the thinner

I'd bet 99% of it would buff out fine. White is the perfect color to get that sort of damage on.

It won't buff out according to him.

It's dented and the clearcoat has been stripped...

You should be able to see if it is dented or not and should be able to tell if the clearcoat has been stripped. It does indeed appear to be a bit creased on the upper part of the markings.



Regardless, if that is true, start buffing as you have nothing to lose.
