Will pay lots of $$$$$ for concours detail from a pro

Express

I recently graduated college and just bought a black 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. I love the car, but being black, it is very hard to keep clean. I try to wash it myself when I have time, but my free time is becoming more of a rarity these days. Plus, I lack the supplies and know how. I'd like to find a really anal autopian here that would be willing to do the top of the line detail to my car so I can try to maintain in that condition. I live in NW Alabama, but travel evtensively to St.Louis, Atlanta, Birmingham and points in between. I posted something similar in the 'pro-detailers' forum but haven't had much luck. Here is what I'm looking for...

1) Clay exterior

2) SMR through whatever means necessary. The swirls aren't bad at all (car is six months old), but they are there.

3) Some sort of deep polish

4) Long lasting sealant

5) Carpet/cloth seat cleaning (took dog on road trip result=:shocked )

I'm willing to pay almost any sane amount for this, but obviously, I want the best. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

Too bad you're not in my area. I'll give ya a bump.

Have you tried looking for a mobile detailer? Drive around during the day and look. I usually see a few other ones out there when I'm getting lost... I mean trying to find my next job.

The only 'mobile detailer' I see in my neck of the woods is that 'waterless car wash' guy. No way hes touching my car!!! Most of the so called detail shops are just glorified car washers. Plus I cringe when I see the way they wash cars and the dirty oribital bonnets they use on eveyr car they touch.

Actually, a few days ago I got a PM from SonnyDaze and he mentioned you I believe. I may make a trip to New Orleans in the next month or so, I'll let you know. You could always drive to Florence....so much to do here.....:nixweiss

Yhea SonnyDaze is another detailer here. Does the Ferrari Club of New Orleans. I leave all the Ferraris alone. I saw two 360s in a parking lot the other day and considered waiting for the owners and was like, "Nah, SonnyDaze probably does them." They looked good!

Yeah, I remember your username from over there. I checked out your homepage and just realized you had a 2K2 as well...awesome. Next chance you get to go over to the org, check under 5th gen for some breaking news I'm about to undertake as far as mods go.

I'm also over on maxima.org. I don't really post much since I'm done adding mods to my car. I'm really not even on there much anymore come to think of it. I went through the many generations of that site, since about '96-'97. It's come a long way.

I'll look for you guys over there. I'm listed as bgruver on there.

<< trying not to let the cat out of the bag but sees one of Maximus's mods is something I am seriously eyeing and DEFINITELY want feedback on. :D

Did you check out the NE meet in NJ?

I also have a 2002 Majestic Blue Max. I've posted some on the org and this is my first post on the board. I've only had my Max a little over a month, so I read both boards religously to get the best detailing tips and Max info.

Hey Marcus, welcome to the org! Its alot of fun over there other than the occassional troll. Mine is a 2002 as well with the 6spd, I love it! Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.

Thanks for the welcome, I certainly will be PMing you as I get ready for mods.

volvo4me detailed three cars for me and did a superb job. Not only were they friendly and professional, but they went all out and the cars look fabulous. One was an 88 M-B 450 SL that was neglected and looked like someone rubbed it with steel wool. Afterwards, it was dramatically improved. Highly recommended. Check them out at: http://www.geocities.com/shanninic/wonderglo.html

My usual disclaimer: I get nothing for posting this. They did an outstanding job and I want to recognize their great service.
