Why can't Meg's Ultimate Compound be used in the sun?

My Acura Legend has some slight oxidation so I went out and bought a Black and Decker orbital buffer ($30). I am using Meg's Ultimate Compound with it just to remove oxidation and light swirls, the rest of the swirls will have to be filled with NXT for now.

So my question is: Why can't Meg's Ultimate Compound be used in the sun?

The heat will dry out the compound eliminating the lubrication it needs to work. (This is the extremely short explanation).

In my experience, it will also bake on the residue and make it difficult to remove.

Okay, thank you.
