Who owns Edge now, and how do you reach them?

I have an edge adapter which is lossing its ball bearings. I left a message with 3M because it seemed to be the new owner of Edge and their edge 2000 system. I haven't heard back from them and I was wondering if there is a different site that I should go to or a customer service number that I could call. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

This bit of news managed to slip right by me. It does appear that 3M is the new owner of Edge pads. The web links for Dedication To Detail now seem to point to 3M. Good luck and let the forum know what type of response you get.

The Edge name and many Edge products were sold to 3M. However the "Edge" guys are still around, with the products that 3M didn't buy, plus apparently some new ones. They won't be able to help you with your Edge adapter (I don't think), but they may know the right person to call at 3M. getiapstuff.com

Nice find Setec. So the Schmitt didn't make the transition over to 3M? What do you know about how 3M is/will be handling the Edge product line? I'm wondering if they will throw their R&D behind it to further the brand. I tried to find the Edge pads that AM used to carry, but either I missed them or they are gone from their current catalog.

I don't really have any insider info, just some stuff that I got by accident trying to track down the Edge/Flex adapter. The IAP guys didn't really seemed to be plugged into what 3M's plans are (I guess that shouldn't be a surprise). You could call and talk to Aaron (I talked to someone else).
