Woo hoo, another huge truck. I`m starting to get a hang of these!
Sometimes its not what you can see but what you can feel on the surface on the paint... This customer called me due to his truck being near by a work area that was being sand blasted. It left the surface of everything very rough like sand paper.
Clay barring took me roughly half the day :(
My favorite picture in this set was the neatly dressed tire. Do you know how hard it is to dress those mud tires with all those huge knobbys?!

Sometimes, it`s what you can feel AND see. Just worked on one that had a nasty amount of iron deposits! tiny yellow specs ALL over. And it felt rough, like sandpaper.

YES! I *do* know how hard it is to dress knobbys! Helped a friend with ONE tire. Haven`t done it to own 4x4, cuz I know. :blink:

It seems that most of the trucks/cars you`re doing are all white or light-colored! Nicely done though. Did you try to use nanoskin products for decontaminating? It took me way way faster for decontaminating compared using a traditional clay-bar.

I had a similar issue with a customers truck that had recently had a bed liner put in..it felt like they had gotten sand all on the sides of the beds

claying removed it- VERY slowly

oh a whim I put a Poorboys micro mesh bug towel in a bucket of SSS and that stuff that felt like sand stuck to the paint was Gone it no time

on the tires.. yes I agree. I dressed a set of Toyo open countries last year.. pain in the butt! bold n bright spray and carrand tire brush made it bearable though

my initial thought was- wow that`s a nicely dressed tire :)

Great Job btw! looks awesome

Wow truck looks awesome! Nice job!

I had my buddy come over to my house with is 94 F350 and his tires destroyed my favorite tire dressing applicator. All the knobs shredded the applicator and pretty much ripped it in half, but the tires looked amazing when they were dressed.

Big tires dressed = :10::drool:

i used a medium grade mitt but it felt like i had to scrub really hard and a lot for it to remove so i went with traditional clay bar
