White Mineral Oil (pertoleum)

...has anyone ever heard of this stuff in rubber tratment??? I bought 2 bottels of 3M Tire and trim dressing (39042) and it contains this stuff. I guess I should have read the label, but too late for that. I don't want to put it on if it's gonna do some damage.:scared

The mineral oil shouldn't cause a problem. The mineral oil is probably a solvent for the gloss-producing agent. Apply the product sparingly and you should be OK.
