I picked up this kit from Detailers Domain

1 Porter Cable

1 - 5 inch Backing Plate

2 - 5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Orange (med polish)

2 - 5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Green (polish)

2 - 5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Blue (final polish)

2 - 5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Black (wax/sealant/glaze)

and these Adam's products,

Adam's Swirl and Haze

Adam's Fine Machine Polish

Adam's Machine Superwax

I watched the Adam's videos and I want to know which of the pads I bought compare to the Adam's Orange, White, and Gray pads.

Is it like this?

5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Orange (med polish) = Adam's Orange (Adam's Swirl and Haze)

5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Blue (final polish) = Adam's White (Adam's Fine Machine Polish)

5.5 inch Uber Flat Pad Black (wax/sealant/glaze) = Adam's Grey (Adam's Machine Superwax)

I think I have it right but I want to be sure, thanks in advance.

I'm not too familiar with the Uber pads but if they are like the LC's, which it sounds like, then I'd say you are right in your assumption. I use Adams' stuff a lot and basically have the same setup with Lake Country pads, only I use a white pad instead of the blue but you should be fine.

If I am not mistaken I think you hit it right on the money with those way you sorted the pads. You can always feel the pads to see which on "should" cut and should be used for less aggressive duties. Pads that are used to cut usually are hard/stiff.

You look like you got it .The only thing I may add to it is that for the swirl and haze you could use the green as well as the orange depending on the cut needed .
