Which products have you REstocked in your collection?

I guess this is really only aimed at the novice and hobbyist detailers, not the ones that do this for a living.

I was looking at my vast collection of supplies (due of course to that additive syndrome we all share), and realized I have so much stuff, more waxes and polishes etc. than I could possibly get through in the next 20 years, and therefore there is very little if anything that I'd actually totally used up and then went out and bought some more of.

In my case, the list of repurchasing/resupplying for myself is limited to the following:

Meguiar's Quick Detailer - on my 2nd bottle

Meguiar's #34 Final Inspection - on my 2nd bottle

Mother's Showtime quick detailer - gone through 2 bottles

Meguiar's NXT Tech wash car soap - on my 2nd 64oz jug

Zaino Z-18 Perfect Tire Gloss - on my 2nd bottle

Poorboy's S&W - bought a 32oz refill

EO A2Z tire & wheel cleaner - on my 2nd bottle

And that's about it right now.

Aside from that the only other products I could see myself buying MORE of in the foreseeable future would be Klasse AIO and ClearKote VM.

How about you guys?

I may do this for a living but there are still products that I keep buying and will keep buying because of how well they work.

How long did it take you to go through your first jar of souveran paste?

These are the items I replace a lot within the "stash" I keep for my personal cars:

ONR and QEW...I use these for washes, Quick Detailers, and clay lube.

Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer...doing interior wipedowns every 2 weeks, I really go through this stuff.

DG AquaWax...on our 3rd car, I applied a coat of DG 111, and then do QEW washes, and spritz the car with Aquawax every 2 weeks when I wash it.

Optimum Car Wax...on my wife's car, I applied a coat of Collinite 476 when I polished it. Every other wash (once a month), I apply a coat of Optimum Car Wax.

P21S wheel cleaner...I use this on all my cars' wheels.

M105

Menz SIP

Ultafina

Z16

ONR

Stoners Invisible Glass

The rest gets changed daily depending on my mood!

I have waxed my truck 3 times and 2 cars with the Souveran Paste. I don't see that running out fast. Thin coats are better. I don't put it on thick. I followed the directions. It actually brought out the flakes in my paint I never saw before. I have had the truck going on 4 years!

But you had it on your list of items you've REstocked. So you're still on your first jar then?

Meguiars NXT

Original or 2.0? I've never tried 2.0, but I've heard it's supposed to have been improved.

But when my bottle of original NXT runs out I wasn't planning on replacing it (based on the original formula). This site and its members have introduced me to way too many alternative products out there that have worked better for me in one way or another. But who knows, maybe if I hear enjoy good things about 2.0 I'll investigate it some day.

Inzane,

Yes I'm still on my first jar. I restocked it because I thought I would use it up real fast. Plus I Love the results. Smells Good Too! A little goes a long way.

I get a lot of supplies locally from Majestic Solutions in Raleigh:

Super Green - excellant APC

Tidal Wave - good all round cleaner, can be diluted for interior work

Poly Pro - tires, interior, trim

Bug Off

Banana Wax - the best easy to use liquid wax I've ever tried

Showroom Shine - light QD that adds a lot of gloss

then there's

AW, DG 901, CG's CW&G, Clay Magic Blue, Vroom MF towels, Woolite, Stoner's IG

What is the durability of it?

Not great. It's mostly considered a show wax. But it just looks so damn good... I don't care if it doesn't last on the paint. (I just won't bother using it on my winter drivers though.)
