Which Menz polishes??

I have seen enough and can't hold out any longer. I just don't know which polishes to go with. At this moment, I am only working on Euro's. Most have soft and really soft clears on them but a lot of them are in need of a serious polish. They all have swirls and most have scratches. Can I get away with the IP instead of the SIP? He only has one Benz and that is getting shipped out this week to his house in Cal. I don't really want to spend 40 bucks on SIP if I am not really going to use it. But if you think I might need then I don't want to not have it and be disappointed with the IP. Also, is the final polish decent enough. Unfortunately, all of these cars are black. I have found it tough to beat Sonus SFX 3 but if Menz's final polish is as good or better, AG has a deal on a package of IP and final polish.

I have seen enough raving over these products that I have to atleast try them. I also like the bulk sizes I can get. So any help on which polishes would work the best for me would be greatly appreciated. Plus it might save me some money in the long run.

Thanks;)

IP and Final Polish are more than enough to correct soft paint. I recently did a Benz with IP and I wished I would have had SIP, but for soft paint/clearcoat, IP is more than strong enough. I love Sonus SFX 3, and you are right, it is very hard to beat. The only product that I have found comes close to it is Menzerna Micro Polish, but IMO, SFX 3 finishes better with more gloss.

What tool are you using? A "PC" or rotary? With a PC, Menzerna take a bit more working it out for proper breakdown. With a rotary, it happens much faster.

Soft paints, IP and a good cutting pad/polish pad (orange pad), then yes you can go down to FP or look into SCR type polished such as 106FF or PO85RD with a polishing pad.

If you cannot get 106FF, Blackfire has the same one in a "consumer" bottle called SCR.

Also, as with any new product, I would find a way to test these out to obtain the best effect and technique. Find a "test" hood or fender so you can get the feel of these polishes. Problem with first-time Menzerna users is they do not learn the way to use these correctly and do not take enough time to fully break them down or use the wrong pads/speeds.

Autogeeks "deal" is not really a deal. They are selling their bottles for 20% more that most other places. You can get 32oz of each bottle for $52 most other places. Plus you can get discount when you use code like autopia does with autogeek. The microfiber towels and 2 sponges aren't worth paying the extra $8 IMO...
