Which Meguiar`s polish is most aggressive ?

I was going to look on Meguiar`s site, but there is a lot of knowledge here.

I have some megs Ultimate compound, Ultimate polish and their Water spot remover.

Amazon.com

Of the three, where are they in order? (most to least) I would guess the Compound, WSM and then the polish.

I am not sure, I have very little use with them. The WSM did seem to remove some 2K sanding marks by hand.

Thanks

Not sure where you are going with this, but those of course are consumer/retail products; Meg`s has a whole range of professional products that I believe still have a cut scale on the bottle.

ok, I did touch up some stone chips. I did a little wet sanding. These are what I had on hand. The Ult. polish did not do much on a quick try and the water spot remover did a lot better. Still working on them. Does this help ?

Yes, that helps, looking at the ingredients, although they all use the same abrasive, it would seem the UC has more of it, so I would consider that the most abrasive of the 3. (WSR and UP have alumina as the fourth ingredient, while in UC it is the second; it`s possible that the grade of alumina is different between the 3). I would suggest if you want a definitive answer post at the Meg`s forum and Stoops or someone will help.

Google this "autopia polish comparison chart" and a great chart comes up from all of the different manufacures.

Oh yeah, I fondly still have that stuff I used it a bit even by hand with good results

If you are referring to M101, yes, it is very nice. Unfortunately, it appears Meguiars has discontinued it, ARRRRRRRR

Sounds like Rupes is (or maybe already has) introduced a heavier compound, might have to give it a try when I run out of 101.

I contacted Meguiars and they told me I had the correct order. Compound, water spot remover and polish.
