Which is original and which is the chop?

A friend on another board had some pictures taken while he was driving the Tail of the Dragon and hired me to clean up a couple of them for him. This one had the bumper cut off a bit and he wanted it rebuilt. I have two tweaks that I need to do on the final version for him, but tell me what you think. If you didn't know it was edited, would you know that this had been edited? I've got it looped with the before/after so you can compare. The before looks more fake than the after to me. lol

It is a little hard to tell with the loop cycle but I think it looks real good. The colors on the bumper look great as do the trees in the background. I think if you showed just the scond picture that people would think it's just a regular unedited picture. Right below the tail light shows a white spot which may not be accurate spot for that sun reflection but that would be the only spot I'd work on. Nice work

The bumper was a little tricky, but I think I got a good match. You can tell if you know it was edited and you are looking at a larger view of it. I fixed the tail light after I uploaded this picture.

I think if you didn't know it was edited then it looks ok though.

It just goes to show that these days you can never ever ever trust a picture as evidence of anything.

It sure is amazing what can be done with pictures and sometimes it doesn't take a lot of learning to do so either. But when someone knows what they are doing in photoshop, the outcomes are simply amazing. The picture looks great.

yea I wouldnt have figured out one was chopped, the only thing diffrent i see is the grass in the window, but without the before shot you wouldnt even know that its not supposed to be in the window. So I say its Great, Very nice job, I have CS2 but Not very good at it, I have done a few things here or there but usally you would be able to tell they were chopped.

They look better without the crappy resolution they picked up when I uploaded them too. Its funny how artificial elements of the picture show up more when you upload it or save it in a lower resolution format.

Does anybody know of any websites that give pricing on photo restoration or manipulation? I was thinking of adding it as an option when I finish my graphic design site. Its a new area for me that I don't even know what the going rate is.
