PAC has good prices... there are places that have the PC7424 for a cheaper price, but with PAC, when you factor in the 10% detailcity discount and free shipping, it's cheaper.
PAC also has a nice range of pads. However I don't think they have a pad kit.

CMA has a backing plate and pad kit for $49.95, but you have to pay shipping.

PAC's backing plate and pad kit is $45.95 less the 10% DC discount. Ordered with the PC, no shipping charges for any of it.

Charles

Which kit do you think is has better pads?

The PAC kit for $45.95: http://www.premiumautocare.com/premautcarpc.html
Meguiars.
3x 6.5" Pads.
5" Backing plate.

Or

The CMA Kit for $49.95: http://properautocare.com/porcabackit.html
Don't know the brand.
4x 6" Pads.
6" Backing plate.
Lambswool compounding pad.
2x Terry bonnets.

The CMA kit seems to have more stuff in it, so slightly better value for money.
But it doesn't have a brand? The pads are smaller, and it has a 6" backing plate.

Remember, this is just my opinion. Hopefully you will get some other comments to help with your decision.
1. I don't know anything about the CMA pads or kit, but they seem to have a good reputation for having good products.
2. I have the Meg's backing plate and quite a few Meg's pads and have been pretty satisfied with them.
3. I wouldn't be comfortable with 6" pads on a 6" backing plate.
4. I would not have any use for the lambswool compunding pad.
5. I wouldn't have any use for the terry bonnets, either.
Kinda lowers the value of the extras for me.
6. The new Edge system and pads look interesting, but I have no experience with them. If I didn't have so many Meguiar's velcro pads already, I would definitely take a look at the Edge system.

The pads in that CMA kit are made by Lake Country.
