I just got back from my local BMW dealership (dropping my car off for service).
While I was there, I took a quick browse on their latest 2013 models. Virtually, every dark color vehicles in their inventory had buffer trails or swirls on them.
I quickly went back to the service adviser and remind him not to wash my car after the service.
I think they are jaded. I guess if you see the same defects day in and day out...eventually you will stop noticing them.
