When to use regular/Gold Class car wash vs. ONR?

Hi

I have a black 2001 black Audi S4 that is parked outside and is in ok shape (it was garaged before but not taken care off), I am going to polish it with a DA and wax it eventually and till then will wash it and use UQW or OCW bi-weekly.

My question is I have both Gold Class and ONR and generally have time once a week to use either (no real restrictions on water etc), and think ONR takes a bit less time in general, Gold Class so far takes me about 35 minutes or so w/o wheels.

When should I use ONR vs. regular wash? Pro's/Con's. other than think ONR can get it done in 20 mins or less (assume no pre-soak with water)

Thanks

35 mins is fast enough IMO....In theory the time you spend rinsing/dragging the hose/setting up the pw is the time you save...But depending on how you wash you really have to try it to know...One drawback with ONR is dealing with crevices ... Traditionally I can easily clean these blasting them with water....with ONR I have to qtip it thoroughly...Also if the car is dirty I had to do more passes with ONR in which traditional wash only took 1 or 2

For me ONR is only when I'm too lazy to drag a hose such as after polishing or when the car is not too dirty but uncomfortable enough I just have to wash it

The only time I'll use a regular car wash is right after Winter before my first detail of the Spring. Other than that, I pretty much use ONR the rest of the year. I just washed my car last night with ONR and I was done in about 15 minutes.
