I plowed it at 8" yesterday and now I'm headed out again to push it , but since I'm pushing it with the truck it makes it much easier.

I have done it 3 x's already and the snow is getting heavier. We have about 17 inches right now and its still snowing. We have extremely high winds and drifting. I figure if I don't keep up with it I'll never get out of here.

I'll pretend the sand is snow and shovel it every chance I get, or every 3 or 4 inches.

Hey NYD is this years snow season worse than 96's noreaster?

Jason

This makes 96 look like a snow flake!!!!

I shoveled out the car, then the sanitation dept came by and plowed the street, everything on the street when up against the cars, so i shoveled again, and again, and again. It is never going to end. It is still snowing out since 2pm yesterday.

This will hurt business a little.

Where is the following option in your poll:

I am laughing at the people up north because either it never snows here, or very rarely and melts before it needs to be shoveled.

:p

The one really good thing about condos is you don't have to SHOVEL any snow or CUT any grass!!!

Almost like living in the south, Scott. LOL:D

Cheers :xyxthumbs

I just got done shoveling. that sucked.

Started snowing, satleite internet went out, then i went out and shoveld. When i walked up the long &%^ driveway, there as allready 1.5 incheed at the garage!!! ARGGHHHH!!!!

In all I shoveld 2.5 to three feet. There's 4 to five foot piles on either side of the drive.

I'll take more pics for all you back home in the south (yes, the south is my home.)

I am packing it all and will be mailing it all to you. all 24" of it.

I fell about 3x's shoveling today, good thing snow is soft.

I can only see the roof of the diamante, the blazer works great in weather like this for a 87, the honda is somewhere in front of the house but i need to find it under a snow pile.

This is going to be one big mess once it all melts.

Hey Guys,

How about posting some pics for us here in Aus, never get to see snow like what you guys get..

Chris..

We have a bylaw here that snow must be removed within 12 hours of falling.

chris72 - you can visit us and see it first hand if you like! I'll even let you try one of our shovels!!:xyxthumbs

It is absolutely hilarious when I have relatives (that have never seen snow in there lives) visit in the winter. They are fascinated at first, then they start to really miss home about 20 minutes later.:D

Where I currently live, I don't have to shovel anything! The maintenance is out at 6am with the snowblower on the sidewalks, and they plow the parking lot out. My car is sitting in the garage, so all I have to do is get in it and go!!!

Since I am looking at buying a house in the next few months, I know next year is gonna be different! So far we have had 80 inches of snow this winter~!

4 weeks till spring, 4 weeks till spring.....!

Well, my hubby shoveled once this year in front of the house. The company that does our condo's snow removal can't be everywhere at once.

BTW, I want anyone who is out of shape to be careful not to overdo the snow shovelling. Remember, people sometimes have heart attacks while shovelling. It's a known hazard in Canada.
