Just did my first detail on my black F 150. I am using all Meguiars products. Applied a coat of NXT 2.0 paste yesterday. Nice!! How do I know when to rewax?? And when I do should I strip off all the old products using a particular chemical and reapply cleaner, polish and waxor just a good wash and than reapply my wax??

First welcome to the group:howdy

I usually go by how the paint feels when I wash it, meaning does the sponge or whatever you use to wash your truck moth smoothly over the paint. Also although it does not mean the wax is still protecting I go by the beading of the water on the paint.

If you polish the paint, that will remove the wax. The need to polish is based on how you feel the condition of the paint looks to you...Even if you are careful the act or washing and drying the paint will induce swirl marks, which can be fixed for the most part through polishing the paint, once you do that, then you apply your LSP (in this case your NXT)

You can have so many variables that a definite time limit is almost impossible to have.
Where you are located makes a big difference in the effect the elements will have.
Whether the car is garaged or out in those elements 24/7 is a big factor.
Is NXT 2.0 Paste a cleaner wax?
In my case, I wax/seal about every 4 to 6 weeks with daily drivers that are garaged at night. I polish as little as possible to preserve my paint being as how I might have the vehicle 10+ years. Usually that is once or twice per year. Many times that polishing is just a light going over except in a very few areas.
With a cleaner wax, I don't think it would be necessary to use a paint cleaner very often. Maybe not at all other than when you polish to correct any marring.
