When did Blackfire become a bad word?

Just curious, because I was on another site and anytime anyone does a "shine and show" with their ride and they use ######### Wet Diamond as their LSP, they get a bunch # signs.

I'm thinking of putting up a phony shine and show and for my LSP, I'm going to say I used "Fah King ######### Wet Diamond". ;)

I did a search over on pictopia and did not find blackfire blocked out anywhere. Maybe user is talking about a different forum?

...and thus one of the reasons we created this community with as little "police action" as possible. We are happy to say we are thrilled with the members of this community and how they conduct themsleves. (Although we HAVE kept and eye on User Name ).

I have to say that asterisking-out "Blackfire" is simply a stupid management decision by AutoGeek. Not only is it petty and silly (as far as I can determine, only Blackfire is getting censored); but it's counter-productive. It brings additional attention to the Blackfire line and makes folks curious. I know there is bad blood between AG and PAC, but adding the product line of one's "enemy" to the list of banned words is just childish. Jeesh.

At first I thought it was simply a one time thing, but then I realized it was done retroactively.

So, if you typed in bla_ _ _ _ re in five months ago, it is also #### out.

Admitedly, I'm a pretty childish guy but they've got me beat by a long shot!!! Maybe they should change their website to...

Anti-First-Amendment Geek.com ;)
