When a gallon IS a gallon PSA

So I remember a while ago there was a post about a gollon not being full.

So on Friday this arrives at my door step

Naturally I'm thinking I was short filled on the Optimum Product.

So........I go buy 4 32 oz Measuring cups because I cant find a gallon size and

Looks like the fill was spot on at a gallon.

In the process I lost about an ounce or so I am posting this so you don't have to waste your time or product.

I'm not sure what compelled me to do this but since I did I thought I would save you all the exercise.

Start fill was a top of tape

Finish

Nice. Those are some good products you have there. I finally got around to trying Optimum Power Clean last weekend. Had a gallon of it for awhile now. Great stuff. Works and smells nice. Will definitely get more. Looks can be deceiving when we see all that empty space in the container. :)

OPC is easily my favorite APC. It might be expensive, but it just works and works REALLY well.

What ratio do you cut it, been thinking about trying love their soap and ONR...
Interior 1:3 and full strength for everything else.

Try W99... I Love it but oh my lord is it expensive, about 2.5x the cost of opc. I use W99 for exterior an opc for interiors.
I have thought about trying it, but I have about 3 gallons of OPC to go through lol.

I'm coming from total auto wash. I purchased a 17 oz bottle of the opc to try first. It worked well. Use it on tires and wells mostly.
TAW was the first APC I purchased and though I liked it, I didn't think it was great.

Hard to beat Power Clean. Haven't come across anything that it hasn't been able to tackle at the 1:3 dilution ratio.

A while back I received an order in which a bottle of D114 leaked a little onto itself and the other items in the carton. It turned out the seal under the cap was poked thru. The level looked a little low so I wanted to see how much I lost. When I measured it I ended up with a little more than a gallon. I either got a good deal or the stuff was watered down. I prefer to believe the former.

Unless Optimum has changed its formula, namely its fragrance, I do NOT suggest Power Clean for carpet or fabric cleaning. I myself found the absorbed liquid solution and its odor lingers too long and it's not exactly pleasant to my olfactory (AKA, sense of smell). Its fragrance, while not highly chemical or industrial, is definitely not pleasingly aromatic.

I will concur that it is an excellent cleaner for hard surfaces, including coated leathers at a 4:1 or 5:1 ratio, BUT that smell is something to contend with. On the other hand, OPT does make a carpet and fabric-specific cleaner, but I cannot vouch for it, having never purchased or used it. Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant

I use tuff stuff on carpets as it dries faster and if I need to extract a carpet I use a multi-clean carpet extraction cleaner.

Optimum power clean is used on tires, (wheels when needed), exhaust tips, wheel arches and used as the wash before a coating in place of shampoo.

OPC works wonders on exhaust tips. Especially on some that are really caked up. I have also used the stuff to get brake dust splatter out of my clothes.

You should give DP Hi-Intensity APC Plus a shot. I know when they were working on the final formula, the fragrance was a high priority especially while being used in a Tornador. I've only used it in a standard spray bottle, but no lingering smell or problems at all with the fragrance on the interior.

Optimum Power Clean has a pleasant citrus scent to me. Everyone has different "noses" so what's pleasant/unpleasant to one can be different to another. Hence why there are thousands of different colognes/perfumes.
