Wheels after detailing

I finally had the chance to get out and take care of my wheels.

After a normal wash/rinse/dry.

I removed them from the car and went to work.

First I used a good cleaner to get the break dust off the back of the rims and remove any remaing salt from this past winters (been a screwy spring) snow. Then coated it with a good waxing, then went to work on the front.

Here is the before picture

Then on the front side.. I used Mequires #9 swirl remover, then their Professional Polish, and then with NTX wax.

Put on a little tire dressing and bingo

As I was working on the last tire, I caught this reflection in the rim and was just WOW!!! Blown Away

Lastly... here she is all done and dry... I still haven't had a chance to Clay bar, polish or WAX her yet.... does she really need it.??

BTW... if anybody can explain to me how to get the pics to show up instead of the link, I'd be happy to do this.

of course! at the minimum, wax it, wax the wheels too :) Use clay and polish if you feel up to it. Waxing it will make it easier to clean and get bugs off as well. :xyxthumbs

Looks good, but the thing is that those type of wheels look great even when they have just been washed. I don't like them on our blazers, since once I polish, and wax, they don't look any different!!!
