I did some searching but came up with nothing.



What do you guys use on your wheel wells to keep them looking clean. I have been using a heated pressure washer but that only gets them so clean. I haven't tried any chemicals yet.

Amazing Roll Off to clean

I can't find any before pics right now, but I did drive through mud on purpose sveral times to see the power of the amazing roll off...

I just use a wheel and tire cleaner. Right now i have wolfgang's. I just spray them with cleaner and use a brush or an old wash mitt (i guess for a mitt that's the lowest of the low, wheel well duty). If there's a plastic guard i'll put some dressing on it. On my car i can only shoot water in there to clean them out though. I don't have those unsightly monster truck wheel gaps :nervous:

I use Meg’s APC Plus 4:1 - spray all the wheel wells first then wash with a pressure washer. Use a brush to remove anything that didn’t get cleaned the first time around and rinse. Then finish by coating with Meg’s Hyper Dressing 4:1 and it dries to a nice satin finish.



I used to use spray on tire cleaner/dressings (the aerosol kind) and those worked fine. I just didn’t like how they stained the driveway when they dripped on it.

i use a sponge and eagle one bucketless spray wash (or soapy water) and scrub them clean, and if they are really dirty, i'll spray some eagle all wheel & tire cleaner first. once you have a good coat of dressing in the wells (i use either AA foam or no touch aerosal), it' much easier to clean in future washes...

There is one thing I never get: If a tire foam or gel is used in the wells as so many of you do, then how on earth does its greasiness not attract tons of dust, turning the wells into collection boxes for every piece of filth that happens to be on the road?



I'd be more than happy to switch to that if my hypothesis is incorrect, but tell me how so? I currently use the leftover ONR solution in the bucket after a wash to clean the wells and it's been working great for me.

303 doesn't attract dust
 
I use a bucket with Megs DC soap in it for the rims and fender wells. I have an old sponge that I use in the fender wells and make sure I spray it out very well before putting it back into the bucket so that I do not have dirt all over my brush that I use on my rims.



I use ASD right now but I got some Hyper dressing that Ive not tried yet..

Wheel wells are a pain. Even with APC and a pressure washer there is always still some soiling left. I usually follow with a wipe with a damp MF. I am always amazed by the cleaning power of a damp MF.
 
well, it helps if you keep them clean and never let them get dirty.. Mine are usually not dirty for more than a week or so.. The only time they see mud is offroad, and I usually spray that off before it has time to dry both int he fender wells and the under body.



If you detail vehicles on the side, Im sure you will see VERY dirty fender wells and many unidentifiable substances. haha
 
I use simple green APC, let it sit there for a few mins, then I use a wheel well brush like Mothers to brush, then rinse with water and then dress them with Black Magic tire shine. Nothing too special, but it gets them clean :)
