Wheel Wax, Collinite, or Zaino?

I know it's off topic, but I used Axxis Ultimates on my Jetta for three years. They dust like stock, are quiet, and wear a little longer than stock pads. I now run Hawk HPS pads, but the slightly less bite will bring me back to stock pads next time.

I really like using Z-CS on wheels. Easy, good looking, and durable.

I've been satisfied with (and still use) PB wheel sealant and collinite products for wheels but have been most impressed with FK 1000P. 1000P had the best durability and released brake dust with ease.

Wheels take a beating. I use the most durable sealants I have, like Z2 Pro or FK1000P. 10 years later the chrome rims on my van look brand new.

Vintage has zero durability on wheels. Don't know why.

Perhaps it's due to heat.



Personally, I greatly prefer 1000P as it seems to last longer than anything else I've tried. It may be driven by its high-temp composition. I apply 3 layers of the FK and maintain it with a WOWA - either Z-CS or UPGP. Brake dust just slides off.

I use Collinite on my wheels. I have racing brake pads and they dust alot, so I want a wax that will last a while and is tuff. Nothing sucks more than caked on brake dust after a autocross.

SOLO II, I assume. How much brake dust gets caked-on during the course of a 1-2 minute run where the speed rarely exceeds 40mph? :think:

1000P is probably my number one for wheels. If I'm in a hurry, then I'll use Opti-Seal as a WOWA.



I also like Rejex on wheels, if you have the time to let it fully cure.

People have actually commented on how great their wheels look after I use it. It's all I use on BMW's, since they dust like crazy....same with Audi's.

I did one coat of KAIO followed by 3 or 4 coats of KSG and then 2 coats of Meg's UQW and my Volks are holding up great! I have Hawk ceramics, and can wait up to two weeks to wash my rims if I really want to.

100% Rejex!!!! Some people aren't too crazy about it - but when quizzed, they all seemed to apply one coat and/or took the sled out for a drive before the 12 hour cure time. I research the crap out of stuff to a ridiculous point, and I admit that is one of the biggest secret to getting this product to perform perfectly.

My routine is to apply 2 to 4 coats with 12 hour cure time between each coat. (And don't drive the sled before it's cured 12 hours either). It goes on really thin, and with each coat it gets easier and easier to apply and take off. And you'll have one of the most resistant barriers against carbon and metallic dust you can find.

There are sometimes we can use an air gun to blow the dust off. As stated in an earlier post on this topic ... if you do use an air gun ... don't breathe in the dust!!! :nono

So Rejex is better than Collininite or the Klasse twins? Would it be worth it to apply the klasse twins, wait for it to cure, and then apply rejex over it and wait for that to cure as well? I currently have the klasse twins followed by Meg's UQD and that has held up very well. Just looking to see if there is anything even better with even longer durability.
