Wheel Protection

I have been putting OptiSeal on my wheels for a while now. I always wonder if the wheels getting hot from driving will render the protection useless anyway? What do you guys put on your wheels and what's your thought on temperature?

I've been using UPGP+ and it works great. A quick spray down at the coin op gets rid of most, if not all, of the brake dust.

I use Collinite 476s, seems to hold up well and after a wash I go over them with some CG pro detailer.

Wheels don't get as hot as a black hood in the summer. I don't think there's an issue.

+1. This has been discussed a few times before, and unless you are road-coursing your car and the rotors are glowing, a dark hood/fenders in the summer sun with a hot engine underneath is going to be hotter than your wheels.

I've used Wheel Amour, but I'm not convinced that it makes next wash clean-up any easier.

I enjoy using it to initially clean the wheels - it applies and buffs off like a polish, but cleans very well and leaves a nice glossy finish behind. Protection doesn't seem good enough to call it "Amrour" though. Not sure 100% though

I used Poorboys Wheel Sealant and it was a total bust. Now I use NXT 2.0 and it is better but still no great shakes on wheels. Wasn't happy with 476s as well, so maybe my expectations are too high.

I use Opti Seal and know for a fact the wheels are easier to clean and stay cleaner.:up
