Wheel cleaning

I am at a loss here. I have a set of Weld Racing wheels on my truck, they are the polished forged aluminum wheels, and they have some serious water spots on them. I have used soap and water on them, and I have tried some glass cleaner as well. I did some research on water spots but most of it referred to paint. Can I use vinegar on these wheels to remove the water spots without damage to the finish or am I doomed to spend hours polishing these things? I have recently began to offer detailing at my business and if some of my customers that I have sold similar wheels to want theirs cleaned it would be great to have it down pat beforehand! I just really really dont want to screw this up. Thanks in advance for any help!

Sounds like you need a good metal polish. Mother's Aluminum and Mother's Billet are both good polishes. After you polish them out, seal them up with a sealant (Klasse, Zaino, Wolfgang, etc.)

Any good metal polish will remove the water spots. Im with ZaneO on the mothers.

Sealing them will help bead the water in the future.
